Jorte Calendar help

I have an Archos 5 Internet Tablet 8 gb, and a laptop on Vista OS. I downloaded Jorte Calendar app onto tablet, and opened up a gmail account. I am trying to sync the Jorte Calendar and Google Calendar. Within Jorte, I chose the Google Calendar option, and I opted for usb connection to mount. I am really confused. Can I synchronize the two? If so, how? If not Jorte app, then what calendar app? I don't have very much data in either one, yet.

I know that on my LG Optimus V Android phone Jorte uses the preloaded Android (Google) Calendar for syncing. Jorte is sort of like a better face for the Google calendar on the phone with more options. It mirrors what is on the Google calendar (and vice versa) and the Google calendar on the phone actually syncs to the Google calendar on a PC. So there are three applications talking here so if one is missing that might be your trouble. At least I think it works that way.

But I believe Tasks are directly synced from Jorte to your Google calendar on PC.
