Juice Defender and Fascinate

Hi all,
Newbie here and was wondering if I could get some experts on Juice Defender to weigh in here. We installed the free version of JD on my wife's Fascinate (for now). We have definitely noticed an improvement in her battery life. We currently have the schedule set to reconnect data for 1 min every 15 mins. This works great on 3G. However, I also noticed when we are in the house and the phone connects to our Wi Fi that if we let the phone sit for an extended amount of time it disables the Wi Fi connection as well. As soon as we click on the "puzzle" screen, it reconnects.

My understanding is that the free version only impacts the 3g data connection, not the Wi-Fi, right? I see that the Wi Fi option is disabled in the free version so I am not sure why it's doing anything with the Wi Fi. We want the Wi Fi to stay connected at all times when we are in the house and only have JD kick in when it has to go to 3G.

Anybody know what settings might be causing the Wi Fi to disconnect?

not needed

my fasc has 70-80% battery after 12 hours off charge and avg usage

task managers ahould be avoided imho

That's the wifi sleep policy doing that not JD. Try Y5 Battery saver too if you want just smart wifi switching.

Juidedefender's nothing but trouble in general. I wouldn't suggest using it if you actually need ota notifications on your phone. I got a decent battery gain but nothing worth losing email and facebook notifications over ya know?

I use UltimateJuice to do some of the advanced things, and it does help. I actually find it ironic that on a day where I have voice activity my battery runs down yet on a day with heavy internet and email and no voice my battery holds up well. Using the PHONE as a PHONE (gasp!) results in battery drain, pretty counter-intuitive in my book.
