Ok yesterday i upgraded my old juice defender by accident, now i have the new version from the market. I've noticed that when juicedefender enables my data the 3g signal will sometimes go away and then come back 1 minute later. Is this because of the new version or what's wrong with it. The old version never did this

Help Juice Defender messing with my 3g, why?

Juice defender can toggle your phone between 2G and 3G. When the screen is on, it uses 3G (faster) and it uses 2G (which uses less power) when running scheduled connections with the screen off. Every time it switches it will disconnect the radio temporarily.
You can disable it in the settings and tell it to keep it to 3G all the time, or, in the new version, you can tell it to stick to 3G for a fixed amount of time once enabled before going back to 2G.
I can't remember where the setting is off the top of my head, but it shouldn't be too hard to find.
