Help Juice Defender

Just downloaded it to test it out & there seems to be loads of different settings on it that to be honest I don't understand.

I've done the setup but is there anything I should be toggling with or just let it do it's stuff & see if it makes any difference?

Used it today & the impact was precisely - none :(

Will use if for a good week or so to see what happens - if anything ;)

Pointless app. Un- Install it then double check your APN settings.

^^ my opinion, for what its worth.

How would I do that?

Menu>Settings>Wireless and Networks>Mobile Networks>APN

These are the "login" details if you like for your mobile network. Without them you cannot connect. How juice defender works is it changes these settings at times, to prevent things connecting.

That would be why I'm having trouble with my emails not coming through on K9 then?

Answering my own question yes it is:)

If JD is set to enable data for 3 minutes every 15 mins unless K9 polls within this period you're stuffed basically.

So it's down to chance whether your JD & K9 are set to be "on" at the same time.

Think I'll uninstall it unless anyone knows of a work around?
