Help Juice Defender

Im using the Ultimate Juice defender and want to sync it with my e-mail and facebook. I was wondering what would be the settings that i would need to set on my phone and on this app so have it auto sync every 30mins and then turn the data off afterwards?

You can set the auto-sync interval on facebook and email app. That should be in the menu setting of both. And I presume that you have data background and auto-sync turned on in the android setting, which is usually default. Otherwise auto-syncing wouldn't work at all.

Personally I don't feel the need to use Juice Defender on Vortex as this phone's battery staying power feels pretty strong. No problem at all for one full day use. I tried it once for my Ally before getting Vortex. I think I tried 30 minutes interval for auto-syncing but didn't see any signifcant gain on battery life and it slowed down the phone quite a bit. It might be better on Vortex with bigger RAM and 2.2 froyo though.
