Help JuiceDefender dilemma

lurker not much of a poster but needed some opinions

i'm on a DHD been about 3 months now, & pretty much love it apart from the usual

i had juicedefender and advanced task killer running (atk set to crazy) for the passed few weeks, battery life was ok, got about a 12hour day from it with casual usage, but phone was always running slow and freezing more then it should,

so over the weekend uninstalled juicedefender and noticed a dramatic improvement in phone performance as it freed up loads of memeory

but!!!

using the phone this morning, i unplugged after a full overnight charge at about 6am, i've used the phone for:

15 mins phone calls
2/3 SMS messages
2 hours of streaming internet radio show

i only have yahoo mail sync'd all other usual suspects are turned off, and i'm down to 20% battery (made worse because i've forgotten the charger cable at home)

i've tried many of the battery saving tips on here and the best i can normally get is the 12-14hrs mentioned above

so my dilemma is do i live with responsive phone pants battery? or slow phone decent battery?

are there any other apps i could try?

cheers

I was the same as you ,about 12 hours on average.the things I found made the diff for me was
Making sure USB debugging was enabled and disabling htc account sync ,I normally take my phone off of charge at 8.30 am and with lite, mod use by the the time I go to bed and plug it in again I have about 75 % still left. I have wifi on ,gps off and a gmail account set too push. A few news weather widgets that update every 3 hours ,I tried green power app and not sure it made much diff for me

i've always thought disabling was the way to go?

juice defender helps battery. task killer doesnt. you said you removed JD, try removing ATK and see what it does :) im sure you'd be surprised.
