Root July 1st update to SuperUser

ROM: cm-7.2.0-rc1-g60style-r0.10

Anyone else having trouble with the updated version of SuperUser released on July 1st.

What I'm seeing....

Binary 3.1 won't update unless Android Debugging is turned "ON".
After update, I'm getting some random screen freezes and force closes when I toggle the permissions icon or delete an application from the list.

If I turn Android Debugging "OFF" the application simply won't work. If I start an application that needs root access it will freeze prior to asking for permission.

I tried to install it 3 times, delete old SU's, wipe the cache, reboot, each time I got the same results.

Definitely make a Nandroid backup prior to trying the latest version. Otherwise, it's more difficult to go back to the prior version.

I'm gave up and I'm back to running the prior release .7 (Elite).

Me either

Thanx;
I tried it again after installing the latest version of BusyBox. Everything works fine UNTIL I turn off Android debugging and then applications that were granted SU privileges stop getting root access.

I don't want to leave debugging on, since it poses its own security problems...

I'm on g60 final, and I also disable ADB as one of the first things I do with a new ROM if it comes enabled (I wipe system, data, cache, and dalvik for each update to try to avoid any problems) and my su also fails to update the binary to 3.1. I didn't try enabling ADB to fix it, and from this thread I'm glad I didn't. I guess I'll just stick with 3.0. Is there an earlier version of the ROM where this does work without ADB (as well as the camera, since my camera is still broken in final)?
