Help Jumping to start of message threads?

I am just wondering if there is a quick way to jump to start of message thread instead of just scrolling up through the messages?

Can you please explain better, maybe give an example, I am confused by what you are asking, you have the new post threads that you can view, you also have your Favs that you can store

i think what the original poster is asking, is for a way to jump to the first text message in a thread.

For example if a thread has 600 messages, and the 600th one is the most recent one, we'd like a way to automatically jump to message number 1, to read a thread from the beginning.

There is a way to do so, if the thread has more than one page then you simply hit the page one and that will take you to the beginning of that thread, IE here is a thread I copied for you and you will see at the end of the thread title there are pages, simply hit page 1

you've misuderstood me, when we're talking about messages we mean SMS messages on the HTC hero and the message threads on the phone. E.g. if you have 600 messages back and forth between a person and we want a way to jump quickly to the very first one

I just checked Handcent and do not see an option for that app either, maybe send the developer a message to implement that
