im the happy owner of a samsung fascinate running gingerbread, unfortunatly the bloated version, and un rooted which suxxx asss....but with a little help i plan on un bloating and rooting asap....

BTW, it might be best to use something like Titanium Backup to freeze your bloat instead of removing them (although that might be what you've already been doing). Freezing them, I believe, simply removes the execute permission bit and prevents it from being started-up. Deleting or renaming adds a little extra complexity when you decide you might need to re-activate the bloat (in case a new OTA comes around).
