Root Just a quick question.

So my question is this. Can the swipe keyboard be uninstalled without causing any issues? Yes my phone is rooted and I'm using Rom toolbox. I already froze the app and haven't noticed any issues.

One of the Roms comes without some come with it. So I'd assume it wouldn't be a problem especially if you froze it and it's not causing issues. But, I'm no expert. Leave it frozen for at least a day and if nothing goes wrong try it. Can always reinstall

In short, yes Swype can be removed without issues. As long as you still have another keyboard installed, removing another one is just fine - just keep in mind that without any keyboards, you'd find it very difficult to go about installing a new one! Lol

Does it not already come with the stock android keyboard also? you should be fine removing a swipe keyboard.
