Postman just delivered it 20mins ago and all i can say is wow! the screen really is the dogs balls!

Ordered from P4U and i can confirm that the phone is black and comes with a 8gb card already inside the phone.

Never used android before but loving the look and how smooth everything runs. Also got my screen protectors and case this morning so putting them on now.

Went to p4u this morning to get mine, sim free 449.95.
Simply brilliant phone.

Pre-ordered with play and amazon, amateurs. Mid-November they reckon,
 
well i just rang to register my sim and had no problems. was able to turn speaker on/off and end the call.

The deal came with 500mb of data which suits me.
 
but they got earlier than us. TS ordered on fri and got it today. LOL. i ordered mine last month and still haven got it. thinking thinking. ..
 
lol.. but still T-mobile offered the best deal on MPD.
well, 7 more days for MPD to deliver our phone !!

Might sound cheeky to say this, but are you sure it's entirely black?

I saw one at P4U yesterday and it was the usual copper/brown colour (ie mostly on the back).

They said that was the only colour they were expecting.
 
I just spoke to an unnamed store(not mentioning it lol) said they have one in stock to sell on contract,took my details and I have got till 5 to get there and he will keep hold of it for me. Wish me luck, I feel I deserve it after the way T-Mob have messed me around

Yeah actually you are right, brought it outside and it does have that copper look to it, however on the contract paperwork in does say black? :confused:
 
One of the P4U guys told me their paperwork described it as black too.

"Looks black to me" he said....

It wasn't.

Congrats man.
What phone did you have before. I want to get this phone but I want to see the screen first. I'm wondering what you are comparing the brilliance of the screen against. I remember getting the Desire which I still have and thinking at the time that the screen was great only to then compare it to the samsung Galaxy s.
Looking forward to hearing more about how your finding it. Congrats on getting it so soon
 
I compared a Galaxy S to the Desire HD yesterday.

The Galaxy S screen is noticeably better but the screen on the Desire HD was better than I had expected. I will still be happy to swap my Galaxy S for this.
 
I had the iphone 3gs before. The size alone does it for me but the DHD seems so much sharper. like i said before really loving the htc sense. Haven't really done much more apart from setting up my mail, facebook, and some checking out a few sites.

How did u blag getting a sim free one from P4U? I phoned a couple of stores today and they said they had some more being delivered tomorrow morning. But I asked about sim free and they said no it would have to be contract. Speak to the-manager-job? Need some excuses for the morning :D lol
