Help Just bought the AT&T GS2

Hi all. I just bought the AT&T SGS2 for my son to replace his mangled iPhone 4. I'm a little worried though, as I also just bought the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon and don't know how I feel about my first Samsung smartphone. I love the features of the Nexus and ICS is "all that", but the reception is AWFUL! I am wondering if the GS2 on AT&T has similar issues. I've seen many complaints about Sammy's radios. We are in the Tampa Bay area, in Pinellas County. Any info is appreciated.

I've had great service (I live about 90 minutes north of NYC). ATT's 3G/HSPA+ has been much better/faster then Verizon's 3g. We just got 4G LTE in this area so I have no idea how to compare. I prefer the SII. When we get ICs absolutely everything but the screen will be better then anything on the Nexus (battery life, weight, gpu, cpu, sd card slot, speaker, gorilla glass, headphone position, camera etc...)
