just broke my hero

just dropping getting in the car i'll post pictures in a minute but it works just fine i'm using it to do this right now

wow. my wife has dropped mine on concrete while getting out of a truck, i've dropped it many times on concrete, the floors, etc, and it only has one little crack in the screen on the corner where the search button is.. i feel lucky.
 
Ouch. That sucks. Just to let you know you named the thread "just broke my hero" instead of evo...
 
My friend cracked his in the same way(getting in/out the car). Apparently the corners of this thing are the killspot. You can drop them all day on the face, or on the back and they come out fine, but as soon as one of those corners comes in contact with a hard surface its crack city. Thats why I keep my Amzer silicone on all day.
 
yeah insured . Thank u lord. But asurion wants me to send in a copies of my is and a signed affidavit. What a hassle but they said the deductible should only be fifty. They also said its on a two week back order. And it might be a refurbished phone.

Wrong. He used speech to text and it captured "hero". That's not spell checking.

Here, ill clear it up for you guys. I said evo but the phone thought i said hero. Then, when I went to edit it, i got glass in my finger causing me to make another error. When I saw ego i left because not only was it slightly true but it was funny. Got it LOL? :D:cool::eek:

And yes this thing is dangerous .

Extremely sorry about that.
I lost mine last night while i was out..not sure if it was stolen though :( Im devastated.
How is Asurion working with you? So far, I juust faxed my affidavit and ID.

Looks like 24-48 hours to get a call back :(
Also read about the back order. Might be 2 weeks you said?? :O Dammit.
 
so far so good. my phone is still working great (packing tape and all lol ) so i am not in too big of a hurry. let me know how it goes

Well, they used to didn't require that...but if you look at the thread...oh, like this one:

You'll see that many people are giving advice to others to commit insurance fraud, thinking that they are sticking it to the man. The insurance companies have figure this out. In reality, people with legit claims like you are the one who gets stuck trying to prove your claim is valid. So, because people keep cheating the system, you pay.

I read that thread. Then I thought maybe I will keep my phone. Then I remembered: I do not have a phone to keep.. haha Im already going through withdraw. Only been 24 hours :(
I remember reading over the years the same thing. People have always been doing that insurance fraud and bragging about it online. Not too good, then we all have to suffer for it.

By the way Drew, you said the deductible is 50? I think mine is going to cost 100.. could you double check this by chance please? Thanks in advance..
