I live/work in Pittsburgh. I've been in 4G since Thursday, except for the 2hrs that I was in Dave and Busters. Bounced between 4G and 3G while I was there.

When at work...where generally I dont use the phone that much b/c I have a computer right in front of me, I have 4G all the time. It is amazingly fast........very impressive. This is the way all phones should be regarding the web and downloads. Downloading apps are like 2-3 secs.

I am very happy with the phone, the screen is great, it is very snappy and responsive, typing has been very easy. I just need a gel case so I can hold on to it. It is a bit slippery naked. I recommend this phone.

4g is burning up my hand in metro Atl. Very good coverage here. However, I am on WiFi whenever possible to save battery. What I find amusing is that I get faster download speeds over 4g than I do my cable internet over wireless n. To say I'm impressed with 4g speeds would be an understatement.

Same experience here, in akron oh...4g works great. Now if I can leave this crappy city, id be ok...3 years here is enough.

Checked the coverage map and am somewhat pleased to see 3 Green stars a.k.a. areas expected to get 4G this year (2011) in my general area...

I have it in DC. It is at LAX where I just landed as well. I am loving it. Used the Hotspot at BWI to rent a movie on my iPad. Downloaded 2 gb file in decent time.

Also in Pittsburgh, always 4G, even at home, all the way out near Monroeville, where 3G wasn't 100% consistent when inside...

Actually, I even have it in the basement, where I've never been able to even send a text.

Yeah in my house I got 1bar of 3g and never saw over 1mbps downloads now I've always got full bars 4g and low teens in downloads ... I've been so impressed especiay considering my roommate can barely make Calls on his evo lol

Mostly 4G in Portland OR/Vancouver WA, 3G is some areas still. Super Fast, 10 to 15 times faster than 3g on VZW and ATT.

I get it where verizon says i should as of now. South suburbs of Chicago. Its blazing fast, especially in thr city. But when i come down south to my new home about 1 hour south of Chicago, no 4G here. But 3G works great out here.

sorry to bump an older thread. im in fresno ca. and they just flipped the LTE switch yesterday while i was on my way to work. it was supposed to come online 6/16 but they threw the switch early. constant speeds of 9-10 mb download and 3-4 upload.

10Mbps down regularly here in Cincinnati with bursts upward of 15Mbps on occasion. Worth the extended battery to fully utilize the phone's abilities. :)

I live like 2 miles north of the 4G cliff, in San Diego, but I'm usually getting it all day until I go home. Verizon rep. said I'd have it at my house by the end of summer (he also said it will probably have Netflix by then too)!!
