Hello All!
I'm a new Vibrant owner, having just got it just before the New Year. I upgraded with T-Mobile back in August 2010 to the Bold 9700, and when my mom got the Vibrant, I just had to have one too!
While I think I've figured out somethings on the phone, I hope to learn more about it and how to even root it here.
I am currently at my fathers house in Las Vegas, NV but I live and prefer to live, in my home down in Anaheim, CA. I'm crazy about Disneyland and tend to spend a lot of time there even. I also enjoy listening to all kinds of music (not as much rap or hip-hop though).
As for what Skyfather means, on my fathers side of the family, there is some Apache Indian, which I tend to try and learn as much about. I think the Native Americans are truly pure to the earth and we all can learn a lot from them. Anyway, Skyfather is really Father Sky (as the Navajo) call him, which is the god of weather. They believe there is two lords, Earth Mother & Father Sky. Earth Mother takes care of the land and the people who live on the land. Father Sky brings the rains and other weather events that help Earth Mother grow the food, or let's us see during the day by letting the sun shine.
I changed it around though, because when people see Father Sky, they tend to think of the Catholic Church, which is far from what it actually means. So instead of asking if I am father in the church, people tend to ask more, what does Skyfather mean. Which now you know
I picked Skyfather because one of my hobby's and interests is weather and earth events, such as thunder storms and even earthquakes and things of that nature. It just seems to fit me a little bit
I look forward to getting to know some of you as well! Thanks for having me
