Just got it!

I just got it for $199 also but they told me it was because of my corporate discount. The guy next to me was paying $249 for it. I was surprised but obviously happy with the $50 discount. I also picked up the 2750 extended battery ($37.50 with my 25% discount).

I wasn't eligible for the NE2 (would have been eligible on 7/25) so I came in there expecting to pay $249 (plus $20 early upgrade). So I am with the results!

29.99 for the 4G/3G unlimited data plan ($23.99 with my corp discount). Nothing different in terms of cap as far as I can tell from the 3G unlimited data plan I had with my Moto Droid.

what is the data packages details. Cost? cap? any info?

I'm on west coast and set my alarm to get up and go to town. I thought I'd look online first to see what was going on and found that it waould be $199 for me online. I'm not due for my 2NE until August so I was very surprised. It did show my line was eligible for an upgrade. It didn't say online discount so I'm assuming I will get this at the store too so I'm not going to order online. I want mine now!

Freakin' SWEET phone. Just picked one up at VZ Experience Store. I wasn't eligible for an upgrade but the guy asked his manager and they gave me update price anyway. AWESOME. I got a car charger, screen protectors, and silicone case. I was expecting to walk out of there out $700, but walked out paying $308. I'm STOKED.

Do you have LTE coverage in your area? That's the main reason I'm upgrading from a Droid X. I'm pretty much expecting a similar experience, 'cept faster.

data plan was the same, unlimited for $29. There was a little confusion when I got it because the SIM card for 4 G was NOT in the phone. They got it from the back, scanned it, and placed it in the phone. *228 does not work, as pointed out in a different thread. Beautiful display, FAST. Lots of new software included. Some games, etc.
