Just got my Incredible in the mail...

This phone is AWESOME! It's noticeably faster than my droid and I love the light-weight feel! Now I must returned to playing with it...I just have to make sure I don't drool on it and break the screen..
 
Glad it arrived safely and you're enjoying it. It is indeed a grand piece of equipment. If it had a bigger screen, I would never have let it go...alas, screen envy of my husband's Droid X got the better of me. Enjoy!

Yes thanks again :). Honestly I considered a Droid X but it's a little TOO big for me haha.

I just read about HTC switching to SLCD for the Incredible. If it's like the EVO's screen, that sucks because it looks washed out when compared to the Incredible's AMOLED. Does anyone know if the EVO is SLCD, or is it some other form of LCD? It doesn't say on Sprint's or HTC's websites.
 
Thanks guys! I love the phone so far, no problems at all. I'm really impressed by the speed...Not a single delay in switching from screen to screen definitely money well spent!

It isn't, the Evo uses a more conventional LCD.
 
I know how you feel. Got mine a week and a half ago and can't stop playing with it. No wonder my battery life is less than perfect (well, I get about 20-24 hours on a charge so not bad, really).

Same thing, about two weeks, ive finally got into launcher pro and beautiful widgets.. thats where the fun starts! hours or customization :D

That would be an AMOLED from early in the run, before they switched to the gray box and packaged the 2gb card INSIDE (it was packaged seperately, except for the VERY, VERY first DrInc owners (like before they official went on sale), in which case they might not have gotten an sd card at all.

EDIT: just because it originally HAD an AMOLED doesn't me it isn't SLCD now.
