After that, the widget get a few times and found that you need to update the widget via HTC club.Hi,.i'm halim from Malaysia..I also update my IS to android 2.3.5 and 3.0 HTC sense..so,it really stable right now..also the graphic is so superb..till now no problem occur in my phone..but,is anyone here got a problem after getting this update???
Pros: No missing video or photo. Nice enhancement in camera under setting with Geo-tag n auto enhancement.
Must faster and responsive to move things around.
Cons: Annoying preview photo show on top left corner during shooting. Anyone know how to turn this off or hide it?
Longer boot up time (about 2 mins) compare to 2.3.3
My baterry status now showing'!' icon and it only 8 months long ago. Did anyone face this? Time to get new batt?

i found 1 problem..if you want to upload photo from gallery using HTC sense,when to want to make tag/description suddenly gallery freeze and error ' Gallery has stopped unexpectedly ' ..
anyone who have same problem???

hey guys,
I just got notified to update in Australia, its finished downloading, and powered off, then the progression bar filled completely once, and then it started again. Its been stuck on the same point for at lease 1 and a half hours now (no exaggeration), the screen and phone is extremely hot..
Its also on charge, but not notification light is on either...
Please advise

Same thing happened to me as well.
Unplug the charge, pull off the back cover and pull out the battery.
Put it back in and power on, your phone will be fine!
Must be something wrong with the AU update.

My photo upload works fine vis HTC Hense...also tested wireless printing via photo gallery..is cool...
Ppl i am new here and i am new to android as such. i happened to go through many forums and found that although incredible s has a front camera and a preloaded google talk application, it does not support google talk's video chat. What i wanted to know was if an update of the android 2.3.5 help in getting the video chat working with google talk?

Yes, it does and Gtalk works both audio and video just fine.
I updated 2 IncS OTA yesterday - one is fine the other bricked with the same symptoms! Nothing solved the problem so back to Optus who've sent it off "for repair".
That'll be a t least 2 weeks I reckon.Reduced to using an old Nokia E71 which has far better reception and battery life - but no fun to use!
..It not happen when you upload the picture but it will happen when u make tag your fb friend at the photo before upload it.....

If your on stock download the RUU file and update.
Are you stock? If not you'd have to go through the process of making a gold card etc.

No stock is when your phone is shipped unlocked without any carrier branding etc on it.

No stock is when it can work on any network with any SIM card. You could end up bricking if you load the wrong RUU

my phone turned off for 3 weeks.
Swapped my phone today for another Incredible S since the other one had a couple of niggles that bothered me. Got my new one today and it came with 2.3 out of the box and right away it asked me to update to 2.3.5. Everything seems awesome on it.
Just a question though; does the update install while on wifi or does it just download the update over wifi and then install the update from the phone, not using the internet?

But yeah, I'm in the UK, and the installation was fine. I had mine plugged in on charge (since the phone was brand new) and 2.3.5 installed perfectly, touch wood.
