Just got the Hero...

Quick question, Scott..

Did you set up an ignore list? And, if so, did you ignore the background apps as well that reload intermittently? I noticed through trial and error that processess have to be ignored too in order to maximize the Task Killer, and not just the apps (which were all I was ignoring @ first). Once I determined which processess automatically start and govern themselves regardless, I put those in the ignore list, and that stablized the battery life almost instantly after a reboot and recharge.

Which task killer are you using? I used Advanced Task Killer Free, so I basically chose which apps to close. It did not kill anything automatically, or on access or closing of the actual task killer app. I really ONLY used it to close apps like NFL, Nascar, Footprints, Places, etc. I manually did the killing.

I'm using TasKiller. I tried ATK, but just wasn't impressed. The apps you mentioned only open initially on start up, I believe, so I've never had to close them more than one time/day. I agree w/ your previous post about individual tweaking = different performance experiences. Just curious as to whether or not you were ignoring processess as well as apps, as adding those to the list definitely helped both battery and system mem usage for me.
