Help Just got the note 2

So I have had android phones before and then tried the iphone 5. I did not like the battery life at all, so I decided to look for another android device. I heard great things about the note 2 and it battery. I really like the phone, I am not so sure about the battery. Here are some screen shots of my battery usages to this point.

Do these look normal?

I'd say after 4 hours only losing 15% is not that bad.

Ok cool thanks. I just heard people talking like the battery could last you a couple of days. I am not sure about that for me.

With my stock battery I'm usually at 1 day 4 hours before I need to charge. others it seems can go two days with no charge.

On the average, mine lasts me 20-22 hours. That's with my normal use and emails being pushed constantly to my phone.

I also use the Deep Sleep battery saver app w/ Power Saver and Blocking Mode at night, which does seem to help a lot (since service is extremely quirky by my house, for any provider).

Overall, battery life on the Note 2 has been the best experience I've ever had on Android or any other smartphone for that matter.

I still haven't figured out how some people make it to 24 hours or more, prior to charging, on a regular basis. I was only able to get beyond 24 hours, with ease, after first purchasing the phone. As soon as my work exchange email was linked up by my IT department (contstant email push), I've only gone passed 24 hours a handful of times. The great thing is, I'm no longer scared to use my phone a lot, for fear of not being near a charger.

One thing to keep in mind, that might be different than your other smartphones in the past. 15% remaining on other smartphones is a much shorter amount of life remaining than on the Note 2. On the average, when I get to 15%, I can make it last for around 2-3 hours, until it hits 5% and I go to swap out the batteries (thanks to Samsung, I have 2 backup batteries...one at home and one at work).

I notice that the note 2 holds onto each % much longer than any other smartphone I have ever used.

Yes, it definitely does.

I have an international Note 2 that stays in airplane mode and is primarily used as a media player in my car. It lasts me 5-6 days. Plays music to and from work (30 minute commute, each way) and no charging during any of that time.

I usually get about 30hrs or so with everything turned on (bluetooth, gps, wifi etc). Although I do not use it too much during work hours aside from on my lunch break, but on the other hand I do have 3 email accounts that it's receiving email from throughout the day. The blue indicator light is almost always flashing.

I just checked it again moment ago and it's STILL at 70% half an hour after I took this screenshot lol. Love love love this phone. My old HTC Inspire 4g would have been on the charger the minute I got home.

How often do you have emails sync? I still can't figure out how people are accomplishing these types of hours.

I've even attempted not using the phone and those are the only times I can get passed 24 hours.

The default email client is syncing every 15 minutes with 2 accounts which as far as I can tell is the most often it will do it. The Gmail client is set up with 2 accounts (one of my 3 accounts goes to both clients) and I don't know if there is a setting but it seems to push instantaneously because I've seen coworkers behind me send an email and my phone whistles immediately.

I see. That's probably it. My exchange email is the one that drains the battery faster for me. Prior to linking up my exchange, I was getting around similar stats. I'd still like to find out how some are getting almost 36-48 hours with exchange.
