Just got the phone!

Well ii just got my lg connect! i ve been reading in the forum and i find out that it seems that many of you got heat problems...
so first thing i read i have to do is use phone till battery goes off and charge it for 10 hours and do this process 3 times..
right now im charging it for the first10 hours.. i should do it with my phone off or i can turn it on while charging??
while using the phone (for about 2 hours till baterry went out from have charged to nothing) i realized that the phone is little warm.. not hot but i dont feel it cold.. same thing while charging...
is this normal or its more likely my phone will have the overheating problem??

I have had 3 and all ran hot so IMO its normal for them to rum hot good luck

so far its great.. i was playing angry birds and sometimes the music lags..
i think everything works fine battery's temperature never wemt above 40 so far..
i read u got extended battery, i bought it too.. did you need to do the 10 hour things and empty the battery 3 times or thats not needed with this 1900 battery?
 
It has recently been brought to our attention that balancing the battery has no effect whatsoever.

There is no need to drain the battery at all. There is only one cell so there is nothing to balance.

You are just shortening the life of the battery. It only has so many charges.

does yout battery get over the 40
 
just got the phone anyone know the screen res so i can put videos on the phone also im having trouble updating software i know there is an update but lg tool says im using the latest MS840ZV8

480 x 840 pixels is the screen resolution according to LG Connect 4G specs

it also says 1024 MB RAM memory but my android says its 800 MB.. dont know if android is taking 200 for something else and doesnt show.

i dont know about the software update if u know how to to it please let me know
 
From what I have heard, the only thing that the update does is take away the ability to use the built in wifi tethering. Unless something else has been figured out that it is doing, then it is not worth it. Unless you root and disable OTA updates it will probably happen on its own anyway.

There is more memory than that. Using Titanium, it shows 528MB system ROM and 2.11GB of user available memory. Maybe you have installed enough to have only 800MB remaining. I have about 950MB remaining.
