Root just installed BB v.5

my live wallpapers were working perefectly with 0.4, im seeming to have problems all around with 0.5... seems laggy and unrefined compared to 0.4

i noticed that too, what kernel were you running with 0.4?
 
I think people are confusing "Live Wallpapers". The wallpapers DO present themselves (and animate), however the stock live wallpapers don't have screen interaction like they do on Nexus One...

I'm going to give .5 a shot tonight (currently on .3)

No issues with V.05 in regards to live wallpapers. I have Chevy's 1.2 kernal installed with the smoke glass theme. My phone is running great. You probably already tried it but try rebooting or pulling the battery out and see if that helps any. Or reinstall the ROM.
 
Live wallpapers work fine for me too. The new launcher+ is awesome. Being able to pick how many home screens is great

Everything's running fine. The only issue I've ran into is the screen isn't as responsive, especially at the app drawer. I have to press it a couple times to get it to pop out. Anyone else?

Also no dedicated Alarm app. I found you can get to it through the Clock app though.

I think screen responsiveness issues like that are related to the kernal. You might want to give a different one a shot. I am using chevys 1.25 and have no issues
 
actually my live wallpapers were interactive. also im flashing back to 0.4 as we speak, so much better for some reason. i was using the scholes kernel

Thanks! Works tons better now. Touch is responsive as always again.

Only lag I see is when doing the screen switcher. A bit slow with that one. Otherwise, everything's solid so far. Getting everything back to normal so I'll report more if I find it.
 
I've loaded V0.5 and I'm having no problems once I loaded Chevys kernal. I also loaded Smoked Glass. Everythins is running smooth.
