Just installed kies getting error

I just installed Kies and after it finished updating and it ran, an error showed up

"KiesPDLR.exe - Fatal Error"

"CLR error: 80004005.
The Program will now terminate."

This message appears every time I try to update Kies, it is annoying, I can't even get to updating to ICS with this crap, also I tried uninstalling and re-installing Kies.

help, after it updates the program it ask to install samsung, i click yes and then this pops up

I had issues with Kies and Kies for Mac. Kies wouldn't finish the ICS download and Kies for mac had an upgrade that never finished download. After several hours wasted, I took the phone to an AT&T store and the manager installed ICS there. It surely isn't the preferred way, but had that not worked, I'd have gotten extremely pissed.

Ugh, damn don't want to have to do that, I wonder why my computer is doing this though, i'm going to try one more time, but this time on my laptop. Thanks for the suggestion, i'll consider it.

So I downloaded kies on my laptop which runs vista ultimate, was able to update the software and update my phone to ICS with no problem...so must have been my computer running win 7, but I am pretty sure there are a lot of you running win 7.
