Getting my EVO tomorrow and have found tons of info on this site already while making the decision to get it. Having just turned 50 I figured I need to expand my horizons so bye-bye beloved Blackberry, ready to move on to some fun stuff with this new phone!

Hi - Welcome to the Android Forums - Cheers

Do you know whether or not I can set my profile up to let me know (my email) when activity takes place on forums that I have been reading/writing on?

Hi there again.

When you post a reply do so by hitting the Blue Button that says New Reply (as opposed to posting in the Quick Reply box) and after entering your reply, scroll down to the Additional Options section and look for the Notification Type box and set it to whichever option you prefer.

You will then be subscribed to that thread and receive notification when you want it.

Hope that helps.

Another question? How to 'save' a post that I want to find later? Found one with lots of good info and links for new EVO user, but not sure how I'd find it again later if I don't post anything on it?
