Just noticed a light leak... :(

Just noticed a light leak from the capacitive buttons. The light leak shines a tiny beam onto the screen. I am kind of debating of whether or not to go to verizon. This is my second phone. first one had an unresponsive spot on the screen. I kind of like just keeping the capacitive buttons lights off all the time, and i dont notice it unless they are on.

What would you guys do??:confused::(

You paid good money for your device. I haven't noticed that issue on mine but I would take it back while i could.

Edit-I have the Titanium color variant. If you have the white one light leaks are usually more apparent from my experience.

I might call and have a replacement sent to me if I do anything. The store usually has an hour wait. I'm just debating because I don't mind using the phone with the button lights off.

it is so faint that there is no way I could take a picture. Think I'm just being anal lol. It is hard to notice. I get like this with new phones lol.

Nice to meet you all though!

I so wish I could see a pic. The buttons on the white give off a verrrrrrry tiny reflection. I'm wondering if that's what you think is the bleed.

I see that, and thats not it lol. It is a tiny pin hole that is letting a small beam of light onto the screen. To see it, it has to be a darker room, and the button lights have to be on. Honestly, I prefer just to leave them off all of the time now anyways, as it is less distracting that way. And even if they are on, it has to be dark, and only kind of noticeable at certain angles. Everything else on the phone seems perfect. I know my luck, and when I start getting nit picky with returns, I end up with the Black berry storm curse!! LOL had a lot of those...

I'm all to familiar with the BBSC... I wouldn't wish that on anyone so I'm going to take your word on your phone.
Leave the lights off. :p

haha, Mine specifically was the storm 2. Think I had 8 of them before they switched me to an HTC Eris.
