Pros:

Case fits nice and tight :D

Micro USB fits good as well. :D

Cons:

Random hole for a lanyard (Maybe?) Could of been removed.

NOW FOR THE SCREEN PROTECTOR!

Pros:

Looks great, screen is SUPER clear :D:D

Not too hard to put on, but will explain more in the cons

Cons:

Front camera is slightly covered, but it doesn't seem to affect it

As mentioned before, you only get ONE chance to properly apply the screen protector. I took the included cloth and screen protector in to my bathroom to apply it.

REMEMBER, when applying the screen protector, don't think you're going to be able to realign it. Just give the screen a few light circular wipes, then slowly, and I mean SLOWLY start moving the edge of the screen protector towards the bottom of the phone.

Now use the included cloth to smooth out the screen protector as you peel off the protective film.

All should go well, I only had 1 tiny bubble near the edge that came right out.

Just remember to read the little tabs on the screen protector.

Good luck :)

This is the one from Amazon that is matte except for the area around the screen that is gloss? Can you get a picture of it on your phone (maybe from the front at a bit of an angle)? I know, very demanding :p

Had to google poidh, lol....silly me.

Give me a few

Edit: Digital cam batteries need to change, don't worry, I'll be back :)

Sorry, imageshack flipped the pics :p (Fixed)

The lighting is terrible in here, that's the best you're going to get from a 7 year old digicam :D

Edit again: Yes, N6EAJ.

LOL... Looks pretty good, nice fit. I actually like my pop kickstand case with the little bit of rubber gripping on the back sides. What I really need is to find some screen protectors. THe att store I got the phone from didnt have any. They must by this weekend.

I bought this same case. Didn't realize that it was a gloss finish around the screen and I don't like that part, but otherwise I agree with the review. Ordered a new case off of Ebay today, but it's coming from China and will probably take 2 weeks to get here (what do you expect for <$3?). Here is the new one. We'll see how it does - I like the little grippies on the sides.

How bulk does this case add? And is the back grippy?

I don't really see how you could get an actual case that would add any less bulk than this one does - it's pretty minimal. To me it adds just enough to make the phone easier to hold (I constantly felt like I was going to drop it before adding the case, but some of that was just fear of dropping a naked phone).

The texture on the back is very smooth. Not slick exactly, but very smooth. I'd almost prefer something with a little more grip to it, which is why I ordered a new case. Of course, the almost hubby (T-5 days) was looking at cases for his new Evo 3D this morning and found this one, which I'm also considering if case#2 doesn't make me happy. It's for the international version, but I figure something similar will come out for the AT&T variant soon enough.

I got that new one with the grippies last week. I actually love how the case feels and it is still very thin. I had a case on my last phone as well.

The grippies case has one extra hole above the volume rocker but it fits very well everywhere else.

Yeah, I have the same case, and I like it...And I also prefer the way it feels with the case on than without. This may easily be due to the fact that I got both the phone and the case on the same day, so this is what I got used to. As for the screen protectors, those have been trashed on day one...I personally don't feel a need for them, so I just tossed them right away.

Using the case right now, nice case.

Screen protector that came with it is mehhh... Not expecting too much for one that comes in a bundle.

I grabbed this case and ABSOLUTLY love it. Not being used ot the LIGHTWEIGHT phone that is the Galaxy S II I appreciate the weight added and slight bulkiness of the case. It's also already paid for itself by saving mmy phone from a drop.

Samsung Galaxy S II Ballistic Shell Gel (SG) Series Case by Ballistic Case Co.

yeah I have had this case since I got my phone and after today I am glad I did because it fell out of my hoody on my way into the store landed on the corner bounced barrel rolled down the sidewalk.......ughh....I was in a little bit of a panic for a tic but picked it up and then realized this thing is like a armored tank....there wasnt even a mark on the case let alone the device being damaged. definitely not the prettiest thing but your phone does become indestructible.:D
