Root Just Rooted Can't Sync Email

[briank84]

My rezound was working before I rooted and unlocked it. The gmail app works, but the default Mail program, as well as connection to My Verizon does not work. I get a 504 Gateway Timeout with the mail app. What could be the issue?

... 504 Gateway Timeout

I was just searching for that error and stumbled here. Same here, just unlocked, rooted using Amon Ra Recovery and flashed CleanROM GBE 1.6.5. The default mail client shows me the error when trying to add any accounts. Will wait for someone to respond...

I restarted by pulling the battery and booted back up, and no longer get the error. Don't know if that helps you.

Welcome to Android Forums. I hope you find the support you seek here in the root area for the Rezound.
