Root just rooted droid to 2.3.2, how to install security apps?

I rooted droid and successful installed GAP10 rom..can i unroot or install security apps like lookout mobile while rooted? I am new to this forum and just rooted my droid 1hr ago

Rooting does not affect your phone's performance at all... it simply gives you access to the system files. Be careful what you delete or modify.

But as far as Lookout goes, I recommend it for everyone. Rooting does not prevent you from installing apps. :)
 
You're running a customized version of gingerbread which is already rooted. Unrooting it would not be wise if it can even be done.
