Root Just rooted using the guide above - S-ON?

Hi all,

I successfully rooted with the guide on this site and used ROM Manager / Clockwork Recovery to flash CyanogenMod 6.1.1. So far so good there.

However, I tried installing the Adfree (listed in that guide) and got an error. Doing some more research I find that I cannot write to /system. When I rebooted and held POWER+VOL-DOWN I see in the bootloader that S-ON is still there. I thought if I would've made it this far...that it would show S-OFF.

At this point, how can I try to fix this? Do I need to try to re-root via Unrevoked? Should I go back to the NAND backup I made right after I was done rooting (I made it via ROM Manager immediately after the root was done, before flashing CyanogenMod).

Just download unrevoked forever and flash it. This is an ongoing prob with unrevoked lately.

if you do unrevoked forever can you ever Un-root if you have to return the phone for warranty?

Yes, unrevoked has a S-ON tool.

Any word by unrevoked team on fixing this problem, or at least telling people about the issue on their site?
