Wow! Thats all i have to say. This dx2 i got is gaaaarbage now for sure since i have seen better. Rooted supercharged and not even close to a stock evo. Wtf!?

Dunno if Quadrant is any kind of indicator, but my X2 blows my brothers Evo away. It does seem a little faster than his Evo with apps and stuff, but I have no idea what kind of apps he has on his phone.

quadrant means nothing. real world use is everything.

Yep, science, data, and numbers mean nothing. I hope you're not a teacher.

The X2 blows away most phones in real world performance. People are merely mistaking a non fluid stock launcher for low performance. That's just something Motorola phones have and you're free to change it if you want. The X2 is insurmountably faster than the original Evo. Heck, even the original Droid X was significantly faster than the Evo.

Oh yeah, using adw launcher which helped alot.

Yeah something is wrong if your DX2 is slower than a stock EVO... my DX2 is twice as fast than my DX running Liberty and overclocked to 1.35GHz...

I would bring it up to a tech, just let them know you aren't happy with that issue at all, I don't experience that at all. Just an FYI, I got the DX2 and the first 2 weeks were hell, random reboots, locking up, everything. I went to Verizon AFTER my 14 days were up and still got a brand new one from them... haven't had a single issue since. It might just be the phone you got. Worth a try?
