Just to make you all jealous. ;)

Just preordered my Evo through my employer. Paying $175 for the phone ($300-$125 mail-in-rebate), and $63 per month ($53 + $10 for Evo BS).

Yeah, that's right, look at those low prices. How does that make you feel!

I've been following Android since about a year before it came out, and this is the first Android phone which I feel like I can not miss. I'm excited to finally drop Symbian for Android. :D

When I get the Evo i'll be paying $200 for the phone and $45/mth for the service (family plan split between 3 lines). Then i'll sell my BB Tour for at least $100. So the EVO will cost me $100 + $45/mth

LOL. I am also on a family plan and will be paying about $60 /month....

no worries OP, we are all excited about it...you just couldn't hold it!

$115 for mine and i'll also be paying 63/mo (family plan + discount) so i'd say i got you beat by just a smidgen :p

Doesn't the EVP discount apply to the entire bill? If so it should be cheaper than $63/mo

ummm..my business rep will get me the phone for $100. I haven't paid over $100 for any phone, and I've gotten the Pre, Hero and Moment on launch day. 80+% of my calling is to mobile phones so I'm going to the 200min business plan for $59.99_ and the corporate discount is about 20%. So with hotspot I'l be at $80/mo for the plan. I also don't do rebates. This is before selling my Moment. Jealous? Hardly.

So you're a business professional and you couldn't ju

My Evo 4G will be FREE once I sale my Sprint Touch Pro 2 (which is still mint) on CriagsList for $200 to some poor uneducated sap.

Nope. That's why I didn't order through EVP. Not only were they required to charge tax and shipping, but when I asked about billing to my account, they said that the total amount would be placed on TOP of the monthly bill amount. So whatever % you get discounted from EVP for your bill, it won't apply to the phone.

My corporate rep didn't even call, so his loss!...LOL...

Although, the discount wouldn't be anything better than the regular discount. Since the company doesn't pay for my phone or bill, not really a big deal. I really wish they did because I'd potentially already have an EVO...hahahaha.

I'm paying the 200 for the phone, but I'll only be paying 52.50 per month, and that's WITH Premier status.

I assume most of you are paying so little because of split family plans? I get 20% off right now off my individual $69.99 plan which isn't bad, but the $10 charge will bump it up.

I would say I'm being greedy otherwise, but given how much you jerks are saving here, I wish I could cut off some more on my spending =P.

Would it be hard to try to get additional discounts when I already get 20% off the plan? Bah...

Nope, that was on a single plan.

Retentions waived the 10 dollar monthly fee for me because I'm coming from SERO (at the very least, it helped me to present a "I can stomach paying extra for Android and less minutes, but the ten dollar fee is too much" argument). Then I used my 25% discount on the 450 ED plan. BAM. 52 bucks a month for an EVO plan that falls under Premier.

Even sweeter: my employer pays 20 bucks of my cell phone per month. Sweet.
