Ok, here's my problem. My mytouch 3g just updated from 1.6 to 2.2.1. I seem to have lost the IM app that allowed me to sign into AIM and chat with friends. Yes, it was a piece of garbage that signed me out constantly, but whatever.
So, I don't have an IM app, or if I do, and it got wrapped into something else, I don't know where it is.
So I figured, I'll just open the Market and see if I can find a replacement....wait...where is my Market app?
Seriously...how the heck do I search for and install apps on my phone anymore?
Supposedly the google search app is supposed to search the market, but all it does is show me the apps I currently have installed already. Am I doing something wrong? Am I supposed to go somewhere else?
I tried googling my problems, but all I get are hits on installing apps to SD cards and other useless information. Can someone please help me out here?
