I've been using Vlingo, Voice Actions, and the stock Voice Dialer and can't seem to get what I used to have on my old cell phone back in 2000 - just a simple handsfree ACCURATE way to voicedial. All I want to be able to do is tap a widget and say "Call Brian Smith" or "Dial 1234567890" and have it repeat back to me "Call Brian Smith?" prompting for a YES or NO from me and then have it dial.
With all the above I have to continue to look at the phone to 1) see if it got what I said correct 2) choose YES or NO on the screen instead of just being able to SAY yes or no.
Maybe I'm using them incorrectly? I also want this through my BT earpiece but with 2.2 there's that stupid BT disconnection/phone reboot bug (that gets fixed supposedly in 2.3 which comes out tomorrow so...)
Anyone point me in the right direction - like I said maybe I'm not using these apps correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
