I am trying to set up my daughter's school email on K-9 but nothing is working. I have tried POP and IMAP and neither works. She goes to Temple University and her email ends in @temple.edu

Most schools have special settings. I did a quick search on their site but couldn't find anything. You should contact someone in tech department at the school and ask them for the pop/imap and smtp address. Also find out if they require a secure connection.
