K9 client won't delete emails from server? (even gmail)

I was using K9 and it was working fine for gmail (not for hotmail). All of a sudden it won't delete the emails from gmail that I delete on droid. The box is checked to delete the email when I delete it on droid. Anyone else notice this?

What version are you using. The market version is behind and I think is buggy. The most current (2510) is quite stable.

Slightly OT, but why don't they put the current version in the market?
