I just traded in my Motorola Droid for a HTC Thunderbolt. I used K9Mail for two years and loved it. Now I try to setup K9 on the Thunderbolt and it locks up during setup. I use the IMAP settings provided by GoDaddy (I have unlimited email, so IMAP is authorized). The first step is to setup the incoming server. That part checks out and actually downloads new mail while continuing to setup up. The second step is to setup the send server. It does this and proceeds onto the next part which is determining what folders to poll. Leaving everything as default, I hit next and it locks up. The next step is the final step and that is name the email account. It don't get that far. I've searched everywhere for help and have found nothing with the same problem. I even tried to download an old version of K9. The onboard email client works fine with all the same settings however everybody knows this onboard program is very limited.
