I have been meddling with things that I dont 100% understand, and well, I think I made a mistake. I used the HTCdev unlock method, ran superuser , and had all of the permissions, And I flashed CM touch recovery 5.8.01( think) I downloaded a bunch of root apps and only one didnt work. BusyBox. acording to my instructions I need busy box to be able to get S-off for a permanent root. I ran Nandroid last night at about midnight, It worked.So I do have a back up on my sd card. was looking into busy box and they said that you could install it directly on your sd card. so I put it on the root of my card and installed it when I booted into recovery I wasnt sure how to use adb shell. Busy box installed fine and it instructed me to re boot. I am stuch at the evo 4g load screen and it was in a bootloop for hours.I pulled the battery and now I can get into cm, and hboot hboot says S-ON Locked (oow) when I try to restore my back up it just gets stuck. what can I do to fix it? please and thank y
