Kamala Harris. Thoughts?

I was able to get in to vote early on the first day we had it this time around.

Let's just hope Trump wins so the drama post election stays at a minimum :goofydroid: Because if he doesn't...oh boy....
I'll take a few months of drama over deliberate undermining of the already inadequate action on the climate. Sorry, the big picture is still the big picture, and a president who denies its existence and promises to maximise carbon output is a menace to everyone (even those whose pockets he's lining by doing so, if they weren't so blinded by the $ signs).

I don't want to be rude either, but the two biggest polluters on the planet are China and India. China has opened a new coal-fired power plant almost every week for YEARS. Guess which two countries have been exempted from every major climate agreement? China makes everything that everyone in the world uses... and yet it's labeled a "developing nation" - give me a break! Until those two are hauled into the conversation, IMO it's nothing but a transfer of wealth from the nations who earned it to the nations who didn't (and for someone who so eloquently preaches the climate crisis, Obama purchased a multi-million dollar beachfront estate on Martha's Vineyard... not exactly the type of behavior expected of someone if they truly believe the sea levels are rising). My 2c and probably not worth that.

To every inbred out there sleeping with your cousin, if your monthly income is the same amount as your pickup / truck payment you're doing something wrong. See now I'm a financial genius. Don't forget your beans and rice..and rice and beans.

Glad he was able to help you out @The_Chief , I honestly just didn't see anything of value in regards to advice he was giving to people that to me was outside of just common sense. But anybody that help anyone in anytime of need I guess is alright in my book.

(Common sense is no longer that common)

Most people are never taught sound financial principles... then they graduate, get credit cards and away they go. As the adage goes: you will either manage your money or the lack of it will manage you.

We were literally one day away from bankruptcy when one of his counselors sent us the Financial Peace University home study kit, with DVDs and all. It turned our lives around - then we sent one to my sister, who was in financial crisis. Now she's doing great. I have nothing but praise and gratitude for Dave's baby steps.
wow... what a testimony!

Fiscal responsibility is not something that can be learned from a book. It must be practiced in real time in order to be good at it.

I have many wall hangings from learning institutions and as with all of them, theory and application are two different procedures.

Hands on experience will always be better than any textbook lesson.

Moving back on topic? Isn't this thread about Kamala? How did we all become accountants all of a sudden? LOL (Kidding)
