Kansas Missouri 3g gone?

Yes but.

I went to Metro based on reports from people who HAD 3G data and then it apparently went away. There was also someone who went from Okiedokiehomer City to Memphis with no 3G as I recall, THROUGH several Metropolitan areas that even though they were EHA, one would expect data coverage.

But yes I had seen where the Least you should expect in an EHA would be 1G.

Yes but the only way to get 3G in EHA is through either the PRL that n4zty had leaked or the PRL that was pulled off the phones that reverted back to 3032 after a short time so that means they shouldn't even had 3G in the 1st place

Well metro responded with a incomplete message on fb grrr. Even in Joplin mo I hAve lost 3g. Now my sister in law called house asking if I shut my phone off BC the call is being routed to somebody else (apparantly a real jerk to). Yes she dialed the right number, 2x. I checked my phone and mobile state was disconnected. Within a few minutes it was connected on 1x and I successfully called her. She's got a prepay android (not sure what but a bigger screen) and she's giving it to me so I can activate it.

Hi Shawn - We're so sorry you have had some trouble. Our service is meant to be used each month predominantly in our service area. Arma is located in an extended home area, which means you can travel there and use your service, but not use your phone there for continual extended usage. Use of your MetroPCS wireless device or service outside of the MetroPCS Home Area is considered "off-net usage". Unfortunately, we are unable to update your phones' roaming capabilities or reprogram your phone out of your home area. We're very sorry that you may not be able to continue as a MetroPCS customer, but if you are going to be in Arma permanently, another provider may better serve your needs. Detailed information is provided at http://www.metropcs.com/metro/tac/termsAndConditions.jsp?terms=Terms and Conditions of Service. We're sorry, but wanted to provide you with correct information.Thank you, KG

Time to move on via metro.

Which metro phones are gsm compatible, I didn't think any? I've been with metro since they opened and given the first several weeks I was here I had full 3g this is very disappointing

You'd have to drive all the way to Dallas and buy one in-store. I won't be able to do that, so I'll be stuck on 1x for a while.

Theres HSPA+ in Joplin but no LTE signal will travel over a hundred miles to get to Joplin from KC the signal barely travels over 10 miles

According to sensorly, Springfield, MO is starting to get lte, so its possible Joplin could be coming soon.

Low LTE signal is a very very light purple, that's gray they were probably set their phone to LTE only and had no signal that's what gray means

Alright well I aprecciate it guys. My next bill is due very early next month so I'm going to look for another phone/carrier.

I know it's a moot point but I guess I'm just a curious persistent bastard.

I'd be asking, Asking and REASKING Metro how it is that I had 3G for 3 weeks THEN lost it?

Because they weren't really supposed to have it in the 1st place

Whoever I spoke to one phone that helped me reprogram it would not comment on it though I asked several times. The Facebook reply is enough for me, they clearly aren't interested in me as a customer.
