Uh, I don't see anywhere where it says "Preferences". Where do you get menu called 'Preferences'? Anyone else know where I can find "homescreen settings"?

I don't normally use ADW launcher. Funny, that should be in settings->ADW Launcher. I see when you start ADW that it has ADW settings, but nothing to set the number of homescreens.

What I would do is (if you really want ADW) install ADW from the market and see if all of the setting options return in menu->settings. That said, I greatly prefer Launcher Pro, and that may be worth a look - and that launcher is very simple to set the number of home screens.

From what I've seen you'd get an annoying notification saying that your SD card was blank or mis-formatted or some such. At least that's what what happened for me when I forgot to repartition the SD card.

As to backing up the SD card by copying files from the card to a PC when the card is mounted via USB....personally, I use Acronis TrueImage and make an image of the SD card. Just a preference is all. It might also be worth noting that depending how a PC is set up things such as "hidden" files may not show up in explorer. It's at least possible that some important file could get missed as a result which is one reason I prefer making an image of the SD card.

Of course, that would be Nandroid restore a V30 Nandroid backup if you have it, or wipe dalvik and wipe data, and flash V30.

Mine paired to my Jawbone Prime just fine, but the Google Actions Voice app no longer works over BT. It worked fine for me in Nonsensikal. Will probably mess around back and forth to see which ROM I like better. They both are very similar in speed and function.

I brought it back down to 710. It definitely wasn't the upper limit of my overclocking that caused the problem. Maybe it was the awkward meddling of my profiles and slow waking of my lower threshold.
 
I know this is a v32 thread, but I am debating switching. I am currently on v30 and having troubles with my phone going in and out of 3g service so it keeps interrupting my wireless tether? Anyone see any problems like this in v30 or v32??

Never had any problem like that.
v32 is worlds apart in speed from v30 so its worth the upgrade.
 
it took me some getting used to not having some of the Sense widgets (favorites contacts picker, photo album, bookmarks) But i'm loving kaosfroyo, and DL the v32 now. Does anyone have a good source for more live wallpapers? I DL aquariuim which won't work, and Matrix which is pretty cool, but I was just curious if anyone had a good source for more live wallpapers?

says it need a gmail account to sync with reader.google.com
Also Last.fm won't work.
 
I had the same problem with Listen, never did figure out a way to make it work. My Google email is working, so I know there is an account on the phone.

Ok, is there a certain limit to how big of a app I can move? Because I tried to move a game that is 20.46mb yet it says there is not enough space left. When I go to storage, it says my SD has 6.37 Available Space....??!!
 
6.37 of what? If that's mb, then sure enough you can't fit 20.46 mb there. If it's GB then it should move just fine.
Aside from available space, there should be no reason whey you couldn't move a 20.46mb app to the SD card.
 
i had the problem of file size before. i uninstalled the app then reinstalled, and moved it and it worked. permanent fix would be to set the install location to SD as default and just move the apps that you want on the phone.
 
Well I actually gave this one a fair shot. Right off the bat it was faster then all of the previous versions I have tried. I have it all configured and while it is not near as fast as xtrrom it is very fast, fast enough for me to continue to use it. It has been 3 days now with it and I really like it. Kaos did a great job of increasing the performance.

HOWEVER, lol, I really don't like the 3D gallery, some gave me an apk for the 2D gallery but I don't care for it either (force closes a lot). Could someone recommend a 3rd party gallery app? I would love to have the one from 2.1, it worked great and was fairly fast.

I'm not sure about fast, but there is this one in the market: 3D Gallery - Android app on AppBrain

It doesn't seem to have the portrait/landscape flipping problem at least.
