Keep clock on locked screen?

ive tried and tried but cant even find a thread online.

i wan to keep the time displayed on my phone, even when the screen is locked and idle. ive used daydream etc but they only work when or charge!#

I use Dash Clock Widget on my lockscreen.

i installed that but cabt see how to make it work on lockscreen. phone just goes black!

Err, that's the screen off not the lockscreen. Hence daydream is only way, either when charging or if you have a dock.

No need to apologise, we were all there once [emoji4] . Not that I'm aware of but its not a feature I've specifically looked for.

There are some apps which can display the time when you swipe your hand over the screen or move the device; that might be the best thing for you. Unfortunately, no phone has the ability to display the time constantly; for a smart phone that would keep the device awake, which would kill your battery life.
