How can I stop getting this message I already got it two times already?

People around the Southern California region got this message starting yesterday. An Amber Alert means a child has been kidnapped. The suspected vehicle that the kidnapper is using is a Blue Nissan Versa, as stated in the message. The Amber alert was named after a girl who was kidnapped in 1996 and found dead in a ditch about a couple days later ( I googled it). Her parents pushed for stricter laws against kidnapping, and I think that's how the Amber alert was born. There should either be an app or in the settings to stop these alerts. I wouldn't stop them, just for the sake of safety. Anyone who gets any kind of emergency alerts should be cautious though.

I wouldn't mind getting the alert... once! The stupid thing went off on me five times on me today, three of them while I was asleep.

Now I'm going to disable it because tmobile is too dumb to figure out that a text alert is not like a TV alert that needs to go out so often. Once is enough.

BTW, I got late to work because of tmobile.

I only got the message once... I don't know why some people got it more. Emergency alerts aren't from carriers though. Most of them are sent from the government I think.
