Keep Inspire or Switch to Atrix

I traded in my Inspire after 4 days to get an Atrix.

Nice phone but two biggest issues were --
Battery life stinks - about 5 hours for me. Of course the Atrix gets a whopping 8.
No decent case for the Inspire yet. Otterbox sold me on the Atrix.

I have a bodyglove on my Inspire, not a lot of protection from dropage, but easy to hold onto,

Go for atrix inspire is not larger and moves slower and is more fragile don't stay with inspire but is more cheaper there both 4g but it also depends of how much money you have as a inspire is $100
but a atrix is $200 and with no family plan it is $550

Actually, the Inspire 4G *is* larger, with a 4.3 inch screen vs the 4.0 inch screen on the Atrix 4G. Does it make a difference? I've come to the conclusion that the 4.0 inch screen is "just right" for me.

Same. 3.7" is just a bit too small while 4.3"+ is just way too big. 4" is JUST RIGHT. When I hold my Atrix in the middle, I am able to touch the top left and bottom left corners with my tumb. With a 4.3", I am unable to do so. I hate how the screens size are getting bigger and bigger. The majority of the phones coming out this year seem to be 4.3" or bigger. I want to carry a phone in my pocket, not a tablet.

How is the signal strenght on the Atrix compared to the Inspire? We live in a semi small town and the Inspire has 1-3 bars and the battery life sucks. When not at home on Wi-fi I often get a message even in Google Talk that says no network connection will connect when available. Sure the screen on the Inspire is great but is it really worth it? I have even considered going back to my blackberry but want to check out the Atrix before I do and make sure it is worth the extra money.

If you do any research on the inspire forum, you'll see lors of posts from banned members. It does seem a lil weird over there. I'm scared..lol

When you say the screen on Inspire is great, what do you mean? Size? Picture quality?
The actual size of the inspire is a little big for me. I am unable to put it in my jeans pocket. I did a side by side with the Atrix and Inspire in the AT&T store and I felt like the screen on the Atrix is not as clear and crisp. The Inspire's camera takes great pictures outside but you can't see the screen to take them. My Blackberry torch took as good of pictures as the Inspire inside. I hate the battery life on the inspire. Does anyone have any side by side pictures to compare the inspire to the Atrix?

Both phones have strengths and weaknesses. The battery on the inspire makes it a hard to live with phone.

Yeah, you're right about the battery on the Inspire - it's kind of pathetic. That being said, I own both phones and don't really have a problem with the Inspire's battery because plugging a phone in and charging it doesn't bother me in the least. I have a car charger and wall chargers scattered all over my apartment and on my office desk. If I notice the phone's battery getting low, I simply plug it in to charge - no biggie. You *can* do things with the phone while it's charging - just slows down the charge - so I've taken and made phone calls as well as played games while it charged.

For those of you have have both the Inspire and the Atrix if you could only pick one which would you keep? I have the Inspire and I haven't had any major issues with it but my sister's boyfriend has the Atrix and from the time I've played with it I really like it. My one gripe about the Inspire is it seems like unless I use CM7 I get some noticeable lag. Not all the time but enough to where it's noticeable and a bit annoying. The lag is usually in the app drawer or menus and not so much on the home screens. Also if I do switch I'll probably buy from eBay so if I had something go wrong on the phone would I be able to bring it to AT&T to have it looked at or sent to Motorola?
