Keep losing bluetooth

Had my phone for a year now but all of a sudden it has started losing bluetooth. Go into settings to turn back on and it states "turning bluetooth on" but never does. Verizon had me boot phone up in safe mode and when I do that it works. When boot normally after that bluetooth is on but about 3 minutes later its gone. They want me to do a factory reset which I don't want to have to do. Anyone have any suggestions?

If it works fine in safe mode then it is likely to be a rogue app you have installed that is interfering with Bluetooth.

The best thing to do is disable your installed apps separately and one by one and test. A bit laborious, but you will find which app is causing it. Obviously start with any new apps.

By disable do you mean a force stop? I hadn't downloaded any new apps when this started but maybe one updated?
