Root Keep Losing Data Connection

So, I thought it may have been a bug in the rom I had before, but I switched back to MIUI and I'm still having problems. When I initially install a rom, the data works like it should, but after a few minutes, it shuts off and I can only send/receive calls and send/receive SMS. Not even a battery pull will fix it. I have to reflash the rom. Wifi works flawlessly, but I need my 3g data connectivity.

Any suggestions?

Edit: I didn't realize that this was already a thread. It seems others are having the same issues.

Perhaps a new radio would do the trick? Anyone know where I can get one and how to do it safely?

What did you do? Radio? APN? Take the phone out of the metal box? Put the battery cover back on? Burn incense? Voodoo?

No, I'm not really sure what did it. It may have been when I reflashed my ROM. I really have no idea. It just started working again. Flashing a new radio looked like a chore, so I stayed away from that. I deleted and restored the APNs, but that didn't work.

I believe Krippy upgraded to HD 4 and that fixed the problem. But you never know, it might have been the camel toe.

i am having the same problem on MIUI right now. Everynow and then it wont connect to data. i can send texts and calls. but no data. i thought it was maybe just verizon working on something. but nope. so tonight im going to flash Inc2 HD RLS1.1 hopefully this solves the myserious problem...
