Help Keep screen turned of when using BlueTooth headset

Hi

I've been searching around for an answer, but have come up empty to this puzzle

I mostly use BlueTooth devices during calls on my HTC One M8 (and One S and One before that), and it really annoys me that the screen turns on, unlocked, when ending a call from the BlueTooth device. Most of the time the phone is in my pocket, so it's rumbling around in there changing settings, calling random contacts and so on.

How do I stop the screen from turning on when ending a call from a BlueTooth device?

Unless there is a setting somewhere in a Xposed module or in some custom rom (requires rooting) the only other way is to set up a task using Tasker to turn off the screen after a short delay of ending a bluetooth call.
