Help keeping GPS and auto rotate off to save battery?

Does having GPS and auto rotate off help save a worthwhile amount of battery?

Gps definitely. It even tells you it uses more. Auto rotate negligible. Turn off vibrate unless you need it, and a good app killer help. Also use phone till almost dead prolongs both life and lasts longer between charges.

Note that having GPS enabled doesn't mean it's running all the time. It should only energize if an app specifically requests it, at which point you'll see the icon appear on the top.

Having it disabled simply prevents any apps from being able to enable it, moreso from a privacy standpoint. It's not draining your battery 24/7.
