Help Keeps restarting?

Thought I was dreaming this morning when i kept hearing this buzzing noise...turns out my Rezound was doing...something. I thought to myself, I didn't put it on mute or anything like that...weird. I picked it up, saw the HTC screen (which was ridiculously bright first thing in the morning) and then it went off. Then it came on. Buzz, blinding white HTC screen, and off again. On, off, again and again. Held the power button, didn't help. Pulled the case off (also a PITA first thing in the morning), pulled the battery for a few, popped it back in...same deal. Restart again and again.
That was an hour and a half ago, going to put the phone back together now and see what happens...same thing...but wait, we have a 4G screen!....now it's 'stuck' on the 4G screen! Yanking the battery. Gonna quit messing with it.
Any suggestions before I take a ride to my local Verizon store?

Is your phone completely stock? Have you unlocked it? Rooted? If you have done stuff to it reflashing the kernel might help. Or if you can get into recovery try restoring a nand.

If it's completely stock and you didn't even unlock it you can boot into bootloader and do a factory reset and see if that clears things up. It will wipe your phone though.

Stock. Was thinking of doing a factory restore...gonna wait and give Verizon a call maybe swing over to the store. They'll gimmie the usual runaround and offer a refurb/new Rezound probably.

Hey, did you try the network bootloop fix? There's a thread stickied above.

Take off the back cover and see if it boots normally. If it does then it's probably the network thing where for some reason the phone changes to WCDMA or something. Once you set it back you can use the phone normally.

You can download the app LTE On/Off to check and change the settings. Btw... I don't know how they get you to fix it when you can't boot up with a signal, I've been able to use wifi with my back cover off in case you need to dl that app before the fix.

Before you do anything drastic try this take out the battery and the SD card, let the phone rest about 2 min. Reinstall and see if the phone is working. If not, do a hard reset, hold down the reduce volume then hold down the on button. In a couple of seconds there will be a prompt for a restart routine. Follow it. That may cure the problem.

Be aware that this will lose all your apps and anything you had stored on the phones internal memory but it should not affect the SD card. Just to be safe tether the phone to your computer and backup all the stuff on your SD card before doing any hard reset.

If all else fails then have a good time at the Verizon store! ;>)

Mine was doing the same thing this morning. Took it to Verizon and they fixed it; lost nothing and bought the extended battery also.

mine did this a few weeks ago. the bootloop fix worked perfect. started it up w/o sim/back cover, it had set itself to WCDMA for some reason
