Lurker
Alright yet again im here lost completely and need guidence..please. I misunderstood the concept of what a Nandroid backup was and i only did a backup through titanium and rom manager.

I downloaded the virtuous custom kernel from rom manager and now im wondering how i can possibly reload the stock kernel to my incredible since i did no hard backup. :( anyone know the steps to this process? and possibly shed some more light on the purpose of a kernel...

i might just be dumb but i figured you could only down roms from rom manager and noticing it is a kernel has completely thrown me off.

kernel: 2.6.32.17-virtuous-v3 rmk@droid #3

please & thank you

If you did a backup through rom manager, that is a nandroid backup.
The basic purpose of the kernel is to allow software to talk to the hardware.
