This kernel does not display the correct battery percentage, it will stay above 90% until your battery dies.
I recommend reflashing MIUI or Mobstergunz Power Kernel if you have flashed this kernel.

Well I guess before I technically didn't get a boot loop, just frozen black screen.
Now I get cycling black screen. * the only time I've ever seen the actual cm9 boot animation on this phone is with anthrax kernel, still cycles though

If I get some time later I'll try with 4ext, this one was with twrp2.1 clean install

It's okay bro..no sense in switching recoveries to test..im all ready using 4ext ill give it a go after work and let you know
 
Oh yeah and let me add.

Every cm9 3d Rom I tried I got the entire boot animation and it cycles back to HTC splash and repeats the process ..I have always used 4ext when flashing any aosp Rom..interesting how things differ from phone to phone..I never thought to even try anthrax with one of the aosp roms ..:D

What's your h-boot? 1.57 here. If anthrax gets me to the boot animation, maybe it'll get you to boot

Edit: I might try it again just to see this new boot animation added to 6.1

I don't think it is a hybrid. Chad released 2 versions. One was for sense 3.6 and the other one was a sense 4 AOSP hybrid. The anthrax kernel I put up was for sense 3.6, not AOSP. If you need a download link for chads AOSP kernel I can probably put it up tomorrow.

please do..every trace or site or uploads of his kernels is gone..cant find him or anyone who will talk about him for that matter

Im very skeptical about the acusations against Chad. Whether they like it or not, Chad was the first to release a custom kernel based on the ICS kernel, so I dont see a reason to pull them. Im grabbing the kernel from my phone, ill put it up in a minute.

Me as well..its tough when you see so many notable characters engaged in an argument about that kind of stuff..I think he may have not completely followed the rules by providing source for one of three kernels..but it looks like he wasn't given the entire grace period to provide it (5 days)..only 3 before he was banned
